Arte en el Parque! - Ciudad Juarez, Mexico - Page 1

October 26, 2003 was a beautiful autumn day in Juarez, and my path once again led me to Parque Chamizal to deliver a letter from guest writer Tony Porco to the officials at the Archaeology Museum. (Tony did not rest after contributing the great piece already published here and will be contributing more pages soon.)

My timing was fortuitous. Museum Director Señora Martha Orona informed me that this was the last day of Arte en el Parque for year 2003. After a very interesting meeting with this gracious lady, I entered the garden to check out this important municipal event. The event is held once a month and features craftsmen, workshops for children, food courts, and live entertainment.
